Freddie Martin is a 21 year old producer residing in Brighton, England. A musician from a young age, Freddie is a multi-instrumentalist who formerly fixated his efforts on contemporary sounds and styles as a child, before exploring the world of electronic music production at age 15.
In those 6 years, he has demonstrated an array of production techniques in multiple genres, venturing from tech house to drum and bass, from dubstep to techno. Through much experimentation, Freddie has found his niche in the world of Bassline and Bass House, with his first release “Stop Signs” early in 2017. The track received praise from some of the biggest names in the scene and was featured on TS7′s Kiss Fresh show on Kiss FM shortly after its release.
Freddie’s style has branched out tenfold in 2017, with his remixes, original content, and live performances. Artists such as MNEK and Tom Zanetti have praised his take on their material, with his subsequent remixes of “At Night (I Think About You)” and “Darlin” gaining nationwide attention. Freddie’s take on Stormzy’s “Big For Your Boots” shot him into view of respected and world-renowned artists and gave him the foothold to further his sound and career. His content has received support from My Nu Leng, Flava D, DJ Q, Darkzy, Shapes, and many more.
His live performances are sought after by ravers from across the country, with his highly intense and technical sets now a sure fire way to get a floor moving, with genre bending content and limitless bass heavy sounds keeping audiences guessing. With experience at festivals such as CT Fest, Fright Festival and more, Freddie displays the ability to perform at the highest level as he delves further into his already promising career.
