Gaining initial momentum with the success of "Duality" in February 2023, Montee has impressively grown his Spotify audience from 50 to over 600,000 monthly listeners in just over a year, without the backing of a record label, a deliberate choice highlighting his commitment to authenticity and artistic freedom. In November 2024, he made a significant mark by selling out his headline show in Paris selling over 300 hard tickets on his own. Montee stands out in the new wave of electronic music that falls into the Emotional Dance category. With a knack for marketing on social media he achieved several viral hits on TikTok and Instagram, amassing over 14 million views. Montee began his musical journey by gaining his first stage experience in the local scene of Cologne. Following his breakout success in 2023, he was quickly invited to join the electronic music group Tonic Walteron tour. As a support act, he performed in cities like Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, Cologne, and Frankfurt, playing to audiences of 220 to 300 people. The overwhelming support from fans at these shows inspired him to create his own event series, "Montee & Friends". The vision behind M&F is to unite the Emotional Dance Scene and provide a space where people can experience this music live. Montee's mission is to establish himself as a key figure in the Emotional Dance Scene, standing alongside artists like Aaron Hibell and Nimino.
