For Newsham, his year kicked off properly when back in July he had his unreleased track “Gettin’ Mine” supported on radio 1s essential mix by the one only interplanetary criminal. Since then, Newsham has gone on to gain international support from some of the biggest DJs in the scene including Silva Bumpa, Saoirse, Girls Don’t sync, Fish56Octagon, Soul Mass Transit System, Jamback, Kepler and Osmosis Jones. Following on from that, he landed his first single ‘Badabee’ on Scotland based label Hanami before his hugely anticipated ‘Wanna Freak EP’ on Dxnby and gigstas 20Thirty imprint. The 20Thirty release really cemented Newsham’s place as a name to watch out for, showing that all the hard work in the studio is beginning to pay off. At the beginning of 2026, Newsham signed off on his biggest release yet, a 3 track EP on Silva Bumpas Sterling Trax which included his highly anticipated track ‘Automatic’. With exciting releases on some of the biggest labels in the game and an array of support travelling as far as Australia, Newsham is set for a big year in 2026.
